Keeping life simple
Nowadays, we can see all the people stressed, sick and tired; it doesn’t matter if they’re young, old, rich or poor, but it seems to be affecting us all.
Now, I would like to ask: is life long enough to be sad, stressed, sick and tired? is there anything that we can do in order to keep our lives simple?. My answer is YES!
There are some things that we know that are true, but they’re so simple (such as life is) that we just leave them aside or we just don’t pay attention to them. I was reading at midnight some web pages and I found something interesting: advices to keep your life simple, and I HAVE to share them with you:
- Don’t try to read other people’s minds and stop avoid make them reading yours. It’s easier to communicate.
- We all need to be polite with people around us, but let’s face it: we can’t be friends with everyone. So, let’s focus on nourishing our relationships with the people that matter to us.
- Health is life! Try to exercise. If you feel bad, go to the doctor.
- Get enough sleep every night. A fresh mind will think faster and better, additionally you won’t be looking awful.
- Get up 15 minutes earlier than you currently do. This will help you to avoid delays and other unnecessary troubles.
- Don’t be jealous. Admire and congratulate other’s achievements, but most important LEARN OF THEM.
- Let people do the stuff they’re better at so you can do the stuff you’re better at.
- Organize the space where you live. This will make you feel better and comfortable.
- Let’s get rid of everything we don’t use. Useless = rubbish.
- If you don’t know something, don’t keep you moth shut, ask for help.
- Don’t try to please everybody, just do what you know and feel is correct.
- Drinking is not a good idea when you’re mad or stressed, take a jog instead.
- Pay your bills.
- Technology makes our lives simpler, don’t fight it, use it.
- If there’s something that you have to do and can take you from 2 to 5 minutes to finish, do it immediately.
- If you can relocate closer to the place where you work or study, don’t think it too much.
- Don’t steal, work hard for getting what you want.
- Be honest with yourself and others.
- Say “I love you” when you mean it.
- Do one thing at a time (I know women can do more than 2 at a time) but give it all you got.
- The first thing to start a new project is finishing your pending projects.
- Be yourself!
- When traveling, take with you only the necessary.
- Clean up after yourself, don’t leave it for later.
- Learn to cook.
- Make a menu and buy only what you need.
- Don’t get involved in people’s drama, avoid to create your own.
- Buy things with cash.
- Smile always, it’s a powerful practice.
- If you hate doing something, you should stop doing it right now.
- Learn to apologize when you should.
- Try new things, life is about learning.
- Explore new ideas often.
- Don’t worry too much about what other people think about you.
- Eat only when you’re hungry.
- If you can’t change something, let it go!. Focus on the things you can change.
- Wish the best for everybody.
- Find a hard work that you enjoy doing.
- Excel at what you do.
- Realize that you’re not perfect and you don’t always are right. Learn from mistakes, laugh at them.
That’s most of it. Enjoy it and practice it.
